Queen Mary

HMS Queen Mary

HMS Queen Mary is actually the third ship of the Lion class, although a few differences in construction have earned her an own class name, the most notable difference being the improved rangefinders and main guns. Like her sisters, she is part of the backbone of the battlecruiser fleet, and although she was with the force defeating the Germans off Heligoland, she underwent refit during the time the Battle of the Dogger Bank was fought and missed it.
