Acheron

HMS Acheron

DescriptionEdit

The Acasta- or K class is the last to have an assortment of mixed names, rather than the class names handed out today that all start with the letter of the class designation. The class introduced quick-firing 4" guns as standard armament rather than the collection of mixed gunnery installed on previous classes, and their range was greatly enhanced.
